Michael Hornak

Physical Therapist

While Michael Hornak, PT, DPT, has always had a passion for exercise, health, fitness and science, experiencing the ups and downs of his own rehabilitation journey was the turning point that led him to a career in physical therapy. Mike feels there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient start to take off, get over the hump and realize that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He specializes in sports medicine, strength and conditioning, and the rehabilitation of the hip, knee, shoulder and spine. Outside of the clinic, Mike enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Payton, and their two dogs, Roxy and Wrigley. A co-owner of a sports performance gym, Genesis Sports Performance, he also enjoys all things sports, exercise and fitness related. Mike serves as the defensive coordinator for the Covenant Christian High School football team and is proud to have helped them achieve the school’s first state championship in 2021.
