Tipton is a progressive, rural area just north of Indianapolis. Although the high school has less than 1,000 students, it is unique because it is large enough to offer rigorous academic programs yet small enough to work individually with its students. The school athletic department provides a wide range of opportunities for students to learn valuable life lessons by participating in one of its 13 sports.
Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics has partnered with Franciscan Health to provide expert care for training and medical needs of Tipton High School’s athletes. Forté provides a physician champion to evaluate, care for and help prevent injuries, and Franciscan provides on-site athletic trainers for physical therapy and athletic training.
Although any of the highly skilled Forté orthopedic and sports medicine specialists are available to Tipton High School athletes, Kevin Condict, MD is the school’s physician. He specializes in total joint replacement and sports medicine and lives in Tipton with his wife and three children. Dr. Condict also serves as the medical director for both orthopedics and physical medicine at Indiana University Health Tipton Hospital.
