Trusted By Indianapolis Ballet

The Indianapolis Ballet prides itself on its world-class training, dynamic performances and placement of its students in elite university dance programs and professional companies across the nation. More than two dozen professional dancers delight ballet fans with this timeless art form.

Overuse injuries such as stress fractures and tendonitis are common among ballet dancers. That’s why  Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics has partnered with the Indianapolis Ballet to provide embedded physical therapy specialized to its performers and students.  We offer weekly injury checks and preventative consultations to all dancers. Forté Physical Therapist Andrea Wilson works closely with each dancer.

Wilson spent much of her life as a dancer and experienced many injuries at that time. Her experience inspired her to become a physical therapist to help dancers with movements and rehabilitation to more fully protect themselves.

The entire Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics team is there to support Wilson and the Indianapolis Ballet team to avoid injuries and rehabilitate quickly and safely.
