Purdue University is a public, internationally recognized university located in West Lafayette, Indiana. As a member of the Big Ten Conference, Purdue University Boilermakers has a history steeped in athletic traditions. More than 600 student-athletes participate in sports there. Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics has proudly offered orthopedic consultations for Purdue’s athletic department since 2002 with Dale Snead, MD serving as Head Team Orthopedic Surgeon since 2017 and assisted by Mark Ritter, MD, David Porter, MD, Stephen Ritter, MD, Sydney Harman, MD and G. Peter Maiers II, MD. Our fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and clinical team provide Purdue’s student-athletes with game-day sideline coverage, injury prevention, injury checks, pain management and rehabilitation services.
