Organized in 1903, the Indiana High School Athletic Association is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization that is self-supporting without the use of tax monies. The purpose of the IHSAA is to ensure athletics remain subservient to academics, and to maximize the opportunity for students to engage in transformative relationships with coaches and teammates in which their character and emotional maturity is developed to empower them to be effective in life.
Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics proudly serves as the official sports medicine provider of IHSAA for nearly 40 years. Serving from the sidelines of state final events covering every sport, Forté physicians and athletic trainers offer student-athletes injury checks and injury prevention. And our Forté Fast Orthopedic Urgent Care is open for acute injuries that may arise during athletic events.
Forté has also teamed up with IHSAA to provide free sports medicine education in a monthly webinar series called Coaches Corner for coaches, athletic directors and athletic trainers. This series is aimed to arm coaching and support teams with helpful information to consider when working with their athletes.
