Purdue University is a public, internationally recognized university located in Lafayette, Indiana. As a member of the Big Ten Conference, Purdue University Boilermakers has a history steeped in athletic traditions. More than 600 student athletes participate in varsity sports there.
Our Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics has proudly offered orthopedic consultations for Purdue’s athletic department since 2002. Dale Snead, MD and Mark Ritter, MD are the two fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who assist Purdue’s student-athletes with injury prevention, injury checks, and rehabilitation services. Dr. Snead, Dr. Ritter and Dr. Wohler also provide sideline coverage at all football games and home men’s basketball games.
