Michael Stevenson was inspired to become a physician assistant as he was treated in the emergency department in Aspen as a ski instructor. Having always been fascinated with the medical sciences, this experience led him to embark on a career in medicine.

Today, Michael specializes in hip arthroscopy and sports knee with 17 years of orthopedic experience.

He enjoys the collegial camaraderie of his profession and having the opportunity to use knowledge, experience and available resources to help people get back to doing what they love.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He enjoys world travel; all things aviation, licensed pilot; and sports, such as snow skiing, baseball, basketball, cycling (road and MTB), tennis and surfing.
