Thurman Alvey III

Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialist

Dr. Thurman Alvey’s practice focuses on the athlete in everyone. His depth of expertise keeps the youngest to the oldest members of your family active and healthy. Dr. Alvey specializes in sports medicine, family medicine, osteopathic medicine and pain medicine.

Additionally, Dr. Alvey is active in medical education. He is an author, lecturer and researcher whose interests include injury prevention, sports nutrition, regenerative biomedicine and concussion management. A native of Franklin, Indiana, Dr. Alvey was a multi-sport athlete throughout high school and college and has coached scholastic wrestling. He and his wife, April, have four daughters: Lucy, Claire, Lydia and Audrey.
