I am one of a few people [with spina bifida] who can walk as well as I can, if at all. I don’t credit this to ‘luck’ as much as I do to having a good surgeon in Dr. Joel Boaz.
Brand Selvia, staff writer, Greencastle Banner Graphic
What he did was the technical equivalent of painting the Mona Lisa, but this analogy is not quite right. Nobody would have died if Da Vinci had missed a brushstroke. Besides, Dr. Boaz possesses an earned talent more impressive than any Renaissance painter.
Chris Edwards, son underwent surgery for brain tumor
I’m anxious to hear from my patients what it is that’s troubling them, and I try to put them at ease so that they feel comfortable sharing that information with me.
