David Porter

Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Specialist

Over the years, Dr. David Porter has taken every opportunity to learn about foot and ankle injuries and to share what he learns through publications, presentations and conversations with patients. Dr. Porter serves as an orthopedic team physician for the Indianapolis Colts and Guerin Catholic High School.

Dr. Porter serves as a peer reviewer for national and international medical journals. He builds his own strength and agility by exercising and playing golf. Dr. Porter is also actively involved in the Indianapolis community and local charities. A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, he and his wife, Theresa M. Porter, MD, are the proud parents of two daughters.

Foot and Ankle Patient

During a practice before the Nutcracker showcase, William landed wrong on their foot. They continued to dance, but knew something wasn't right. William met with Dr. Porter, orthopedic foot and ankle specialist to understand their next steps to get back to their Forté, being a soloist with the Indianapolis Ballet company.

Jacey Vore

Ankle Patient and Gymnast

Gymnastics has been a lifelong passion for Jacey. When she tore her achilles she feared the worst—an end to her passion. With the help of Dr. David Porter and our specialized physical therapists, Jacey is back and performing better than before her injury.
