Dr. Michael Bender strongly believes in patient-centered decision-making – where patients feel engaged and comfortable in making informed decisions. Named Butler University’s head team orthopedic surgeon in 2021, Dr. Bender specializes in disorders of the shoulder and elbow.
In addition to his work with Butler University, Dr. Bender is the team physician for Park Tudor High School. An Indiana native, he and his wife enjoy living and practicing medicine in their home state. They are the proud parents of twin boys and a daughter.
