Kayla Zink is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, following and treating a wide-range of acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient setting. While she knew she wanted to go into healthcare since a very young age, it was in her late teens when she learned about the vital role of a physician assistant and decided that it was the best fit for her goals of providing medicine through collaboration. Kayla discovered her love for orthopedics and pain medicine while completing her clinical rotations for her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree, completed at the University of Saint Francis where she was the Class President of the her PA cohort. Prior to PA school, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University.
Prior to Forté, Kayla worked as a pain management physician assistant, gaining experience with performing a variety of interventional injections and recommending procedures and surgeries to improve the quality of life and daily functioning for her patients. Being a Hamilton County native, graduating from Hamilton Heights High School, is what fueled her desire to treat and care for the community she grew up with and join the Forté team.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys reading, spending time with her family and pets, taking care of her numerous plants, going to sporting events, and staying active. She is a huge IU, Colts, and Pacers fan!
