Evan is currently a Physician Assistant for Dr. Maratt providing treatment for hip and knee pain up to and beyond joint replacement. His approach to patient care revolves around patient education. Evan’s hope is that every patient he encounters has a better understanding of what is ailing them, how to return to their normal function and how to avoid returning to pain. If joint replacement is the next right step, his goal is that patients understand every step of their recovery process.
Evan was drawn to engineering from a young age and was introduced to health sciences in high school which drove his passion towards healing rather than building, through orthopedic surgery, Evan can do both by reconstructing ailing joints and restoring them from their arthritic and painful state. Evan finds it rewarding to see patients progress from a significant limp and reduced quality of life prior to surgery to a restoration even just a few short weeks after their joint replacement. He enjoys getting patients their lives back by helping them along that path.
Outside of work, Evan enjoys hiking, running, cooking, traveling, spending time with his wife and children and serving at his church.
