Amanda Ruff

Physician Assistant

Amanda Ruff is a Physician Assistant with a focus on Forté Fast walk-in clinic and general orthopedics. Her areas of expertise include acute orthopedic problems, interventional spine/physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as non-surgical sports medicine. Amanda graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and subsequently received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana University in 2018.


She takes a holistic approach to patient care and enjoys educating patients on how their conditions may be connected, with a focus on getting them back to “sport” and a healthy, active lifestyle. Amanda is passionate about the role of nutrition and conservative care in improving quality of life for patients. She was led to pursue a career as a physician assistant due to her love of science and understanding how human bodies were created to function and move.

Amanda enjoys the fact pace and diverse nature of the Forté Fast walk-in clinic. She loves being the first stop for many and the challenge that accompanies the variety of problems that come into walk-in clinic. She’s passionate about developing a thorough treatment plan which may include physical therapy, shockwave therapy, injections or referral to a surgeon. Amanda loves helping patients get their pain under control and then seeing them able to play, exercise, or take on new hobbies because of that.

In her free time, Amanda is an active member of Traders Point Christian Church. She enjoys working out, all things outdoors, traveling, chasing after her three- and five-year-old and pursuing health/wellness. She loves reading and learning about new and innovative ways to treat patients and follows Purdue basketball and the Indiana Pacers.
