Physician Assistant Specializing in Total Joint Replacement

Kevin Schmidt is a board-certified physician assistant whose number one priority is treating patients as unique and special people. He prides himself on taking time with his patients to explain things completely until all questions and concerns have been addressed. Kevin has practiced orthopedics his entire career as a physician assistant. His focus is on total joint replacements, including shoulders, hips and knees as well as providing general orthopedic care.

Kevin volunteered as a summer camp counselor for the Muscular Dystrophy Association while growing up, and these experiences were instrumental in his decision to pursue health care as a profession. Prior to joining Forté, Kevin and his wife owned and operated Physician Assistant Surgical Services. He is one of the few physician assistants to be a member of the selective American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

The most important job in Kevin’s life is being a husband to his wife and a father to his four children. They love to travel to new places as a family and visit familiar places that have provided many happy memories. Kevin attends church regularly and enjoys most sports, listening to audiobooks and watching movies.
