Aaron Ellis is a certified athletic trainer with Forté’s First Line Tactical Athlete Program which provides orthopedic care to first responders. Having previously worked in a collegiate setting built with an engrained sense of community, his approach to caring for patients is to treat them by gathering background on their outside interests, goals and aspirations. Aaron’s love for sports medicine, working with his hands and helping others provides him much-needed tools to help White River Township Fire Department first responders with workplace and at-home needs. He enjoys the freedom of being able to utilize creativity when it comes to patient care and rehabilitation. From making exercises, protective equipment and thinking outside the box to customizing the course of an individual rehab to meet their job demands, Aaron enjoys the relationships he builds during rehab. When not working, Aaron enjoys being active with his wife and dog, including bike riding, racquetball/pickleball and working in his yard.
