Evelyn Heffner is a Physician Assistant to Dr. Peter Maiers with focus on acute and chronic hip and knee conditions. She takes a collaborative and goal-oriented approach to patient care. Whether a patient is aiming to get back to competitive sport or casual activity, Evelyn values being part of that journey and helping guide their treatment. Additionally, she has a special interest in treating athletes and runners of all abilities. Evelyn began in healthcare as an athletic trainer in primary care sports medicine. As she pursued PA school, Evelyn knew she wanted to specialize in orthopedics where she could continue to build on her skillset both in clinic and the OR. 

Outside of work, Evelyn enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her three dogs. She stays active with running biking, and most recently playing ice hockey with her husband. Evelyn is always exploring the Indy area, especially for new breweries, bakeries and coffee shops to try.
