Lydia Stiving is a certified athletic trainer with Forté’s First Line Tactical Athlete Program, an innovative program providing orthopedic care to first responders. After spending nine years in the collegiate setting, Lydia became interested in tactical athletic training to expand her knowledge of sports medicine and provide care to professionals and first responders who are helping others daily. Lydia enjoys incorporating her skillset into the real world while helping individuals be successful in their professions and live healthier lives while doing what they love.
Lydia provides care to the individual as a whole person, not just their injury. She also gets to know each person’s passions and goals in order to incorporate those into rehabilitation for long-term success. Lydia was led to becoming an athletic trainer because of her enjoyment of the work ethic behind athletes and their desire to care for their body, while also pushing the limits. She is passionate about working individuals back to their passions and helping them continue to succeed long after their injury has resolved. She enjoys the hands-on and day-to-day interactions with athletes because no two days are the same. Lydia she enjoys challenging her brain to think critically and creatively daily. In her free time, she enjoys being outside and exploring new parks with her dog Louis and spending time with her niece and nephews.
