Aaron Harris, DPT, received his degree and Academic Excellence Award from Indiana University, Indianapolis. His clinical experience provided him with sports, orthopedics and acute care training. Aaron is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and also holds an Emergency Response for the Athlete certification.
Aaron’s approach to patient care aims to optimize rather than just restore. In doing so, a new and improved baseline is developed, empowering the patient to perform at their highest level. Being an athlete exposed Aaron to injury setbacks. It was the rehabilitation he experienced while returning to sport that inspired Aaron to pursue a career in physical therapy. He was amazed at the level of care he received and the subsequent results that were delivered. Aaron wants nothing more than to give back to the patients with care like he once received. He enjoys the people part of his job, both patients and coworkers. Interacting with new people with different stories and perspectives makes him eager to learn more about those around him. Aaron also loves the ability to get creative with rehabilitation, and the options are endless in the state-of-the-art facility Forté has.
In his free time, Aaron always enjoys watching a good movie, reading a good book, or spending time outdoors in any way. He is getting into cooking and home improvement rather quickly in his new role as a husband.
