Maura “Mo” Shea is a certified athletic trainer who helps lead Forté’s Tactical Athlete Program, an innovative program that places athletic trainers with in teams of public safety, first responders and municipal workers. Forté’s program was inspired by work Mo had done in Terre Haute, where she successfully launched the first embedded tactical athlete program in the state and one of the first in the country. Mo is grateful to have found her way to serving those in public safety and appreciates that she can share her passion for diversity, integrity and whole patient healthcare with those she gets to treat each day. In her free time, Mo enjoys exercising and baking, as well as exploring new parts of Indianapolis since she is originally from the Washington, DC, area!
